Pricing questions, straight answers
- Are there tiers or feature gates?
- No. Every plan gets every feature. The only price variables are the seats your studio needs. Front-desk assistant seats are $10 CAD/month each.
- What does a real studio cost?
- A three-artist studio with one front-desk assistant: $50 (studio, includes one artist) + $30 (two extra artists) + $10 (assistant) = $90 CAD/month. A comparable studio on Porter Pro runs about $195 USD — roughly $270 CAD.
- Do my clients pay anything? Do they need accounts?
- Never. Clients book, sign, reschedule, and upload through secure one-tap links — no accounts, no app, no marketplace showing them other artists.
- How do deposits work?
- Tattoo Ledger requests, tracks, and records deposits — including automatic nudges on stale holds — but it does not process cards: money moves outside the platform (e-transfer, your payment link, cash). We never take a cut of your deposits.
- What happens when I cancel?
- Your subscription runs to the end of the paid period. After that you keep export access to your data for a wind-down window before deletion — see our Terms and Privacy Policy.
- Is tax included?
- Prices are before tax; GST/HST or your local equivalent is calculated at checkout via Stripe Tax.
